Inflexxion Inc. today announced the release of the Spanish Addiction Severity Index-Multimedia Version (ASI-MV®) Connect Program, the Spanish language version of the powerful, new substance abuse assessment system. Both the Spanish and English versions of ASI-MV are now Web-enabled. The Spanish ASI-MV Connect system includes three components: the client self-administered Spanish ASI-MV interview; clinical reports populated with client specific data; and a powerful Internet-based data analysis tool, the ASI-MV Connect Data Center.

North Carolina TASC Network Increases Substance Abuse Assessments by 55%

North Carolina can now screen and assess more people who are involved with their justice system than in years past, leading to quicker and more successful referrals. North Carolina Treatment Accountability for Safe Communities (TASC) has adopted the Addiction Severity Index-Multimedia Version (ASI-MV®), helping them increase the annual number of assessments from 9,700 before to about 15,000 after ASI-MV® implementation.

Northern Michigan Substance Abuse Services Continues to Save Money

Northern Michigan Substance Abuse Services (NMSAS) recently reported saving almost $45 per assessment, and it’s not because of a decrease in their counseling staff. NMSAS began using the Addiction Severity Index-Multimedia Version (ASI-MV®) two years ago, and reports a significant savings in client assessment costs to date. NMSAS coordinates and oversees the delivery of substance abuse services for over 30 providers across 30 counties in northern Michigan.
